. . . . . but where did 50 years go?

Dear 1959 and mid-year 1960 Berkeley High Classmates,

Believe it or not, it’s time for our 50^th Reunion.  A committee of planners has been meeting to create our best-ever reunion.

When:  Save the date!  The evening of June 13, 2009 - 50 years and one day since we graduated!

Where:  Doubletree Hotel, Berkeley Marina

Here’s what you can do to help…

Help us find classmates we may have lost contact with. Who are you in touch with? Our last contact
list is 10 years old, so it’s not as reliable as we would wish. Please email or mail us contact
information for as many classmates as you know. We’d rather have duplications than miss anyone.
Should you know names of any of our classmates who are deceased, please let us know that, as well.

Give us your ideas about what you’d like to have happen at our reunion. Cocktails/dinner are “for
sure” on June 13; we’ll do our best to keep this as affordable as possible. Do you know a corporation
(who would receive acknowledgment) or individuals who could make some large contributions, to
make it really affordable? Should we also plan a daytime picnic that weekend? A tour of BHS, as it is
today, has been suggested. An ongoing BHS scholarship in our class’ name is another idea (large
donors would be necessary). What would YOU like to see and do?

Be a part of the Planning!  We’ve just started and we’d like to have many of you participate to make this a truly memorable event.  Let us know and we’ll tell you of our future meetings.

to help reduce the cost of the evening event, therefore making it more affordable for everyone to
